“I think he’s starting to say mama”

Best sentence uttered this weekend! 

A couple weeks ago while Colty and I were hanging out, lunch was approaching and he started to fuss as he was getting ready to eat, and as I was about to pick him up, I heard it. The sweetest sound of my baby starting to call me by name. I mean, I know he’s only 4.5 months old, and it’s not like he would be intentionally ‘talking’, but the sound was unmistakable. Then this weekend HB’s sister confirmed it. The “ma ma ma” sounds are starting to come out before the “da da da da” ones, and it’s SO great. He’s done it three times so far and each time he made the “ma” sound one and a half times (as odd as that is), so it distinctly sounds like “muum-a”.

Now let me just mop up my heart.
