Daddy gets in tonight! After two weeks of hanging out in Cali with the fam, my sweet husband finally is able to join us. He took his bag to work with him and left for the airport straight from there. He should be landing in approximately 15 minutes and I’m ecstatic. Two weeks without him is such a crazy long time, but I know it’s been much worse for him… waking up alone, going to work, coming home to an empty house, reheating frozen leftover meals I packed for him. He’s been so lonely. He’s gone out with friends and took off to AC for the weekends (won us a TON of money in poker. yay!) to help pass the time, but he said everything still feels empty. He’s so sacrificial to let me come visit my family and take his baby away from him for so long. I don’t think I would be able to do it. I’m so grateful.
