he is simply the greatest human we've ever encountered.

Had the best time today with my Bradley girls and their babes. I can’t express how much I love this group and how happy it makes me that not only does Colton have friends to play with his exact age, but that I do too! The weather today was terrible (unlike last week, depicted here)… I hope the weather resorts back to nice at least one more time so we can enjoy Central Park again before winter hits. Once the weather turns for good though I think we’re going to rotate going to each others’ apartments and finding fun baby events to do in the city. Today we went to Leena’s and it was so cozy and nice, and we took the CUTEST picture of the four of them on the couch, which I’ll post as soon as Leena sends it.
Also, a quick note about our new new Aprica Presto umbrella stroller that we got to take into the city (unlike my 30lb beast). I’m really liking it and HB especially loves it for some reason. It’s fairly light, at 13lbs, super cozy for Colton, with air vents in the seat to keep him cool, a reclining seat so he can nap comfortably, and high handles for easier pushing for me. I also love how easy it is to engage the breaks. It’s also awesome because the front wheels can lock so they stay straight if you’re on tougher terrain (aka, grass). It’s fairly easy to fold… not the easiest, but fairly easy. I can do it with one hand, which I like, but I do wish it were slightly easier. It does stand on its own, which is KEY, and has a built in carrying strap, which makes it super easy to transport. Oh and the canopy is HUGE. It actually extends out another 1/3 from what you see in this pic… there’s a hidden extra portion of fabric tucked under that can pop out, which is probably my favorite. What I don’t like is that it’s nearly impossible to push with one hand. The wheels don’t engage in the opposite direction very easily, so it gets stuck and swerves a lot. I’ve tried locking the front wheels, but that just causes it to move at a constant angle, so carrying a drink or talking on the phone, or holding an umbrella(!) makes the situation really difficult. Oh well. No stroller is perfect I guess. It’s definitely nice to have and is a pretty smooth ride, and it can turn on a dime, which is awesome.
