Fall is definitely upon us. Even though it was still pretty hot several of the afternoons this week, the air has been crisp and cool every morning, reminding us that Autumn is just a week away. Seeing this beautiful pile of fresh McIntosh apples got me all hyped up. Soon it’ll be Thanksgiving and the season of apple pie… I love our local fruit market. It’s so huge and gorgeous, and cheap. Walking by it every day just puts a smile on my face no matter what. It’s so inspiring, too. I’m definitely always motivated to eat more fruits and try new veggies. I just bought an app today to help me keep track of what’s in season and be a bit more adventurous with new produce I’ve never had. Ever since my friend Emily mentioned Butternut Squash the other day, I can’t get it out of my head. Since then I’ve come across two recipes for it, too. Definitely on the menu for this weekend now.
