Labor Day Flashback

Other things we did that weekend…

Went hiking.

Took naps.

Looked at fish.

Touched fish.

Played in the dirt.

Ate dirt.

Took a boat ride.

Hated the lifejacket.

Played in the water.

Played in the tent.

Cooked delicious food.

Made delicious s’mores.

And overall just basked in the nature around us and enjoyed God’s beauty.

Oh, and Colton slept FABULOUSLY. We kept him bundled really well, and all the white noise around us, people chatting around their campfires, crickets chirping, fire crackling, kept him snug as a bug and sleeping soundly.

It was such a great weekend. And our friends Russ and Sarah are such great people, they truly show us and our baby love. You know how some friends you have to be ‘on’ for? Some need entertaining, some even leave you slightly tired. Well they’re the type of people you can hang out with all the time and not ever get sick of. They’re so easy going, we genuinely feel like we can still relax in their company just the same as if we were alone, which for us marks a friendship that means family.
